Specialized Experience GS-14: One year of specialized experience that includes leading, directing, and/or assigning work of personnel; provides training and developing needs of the employees. Develops concepts, guidance, policies and plans to assure compliance with requirements of Statute on matters concerning the organization mission. Experience with the interrelationships with other DOD/HQDA agencies in order to support and provide advice on a variety of management programs.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-13.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13)
Education

- Serves as Chief, Policy and Training Branch with responsibility for the development of policy, procedures, and training for five Army programs on behalf of the Army G1 and under the purview of The Adjutant General of the Army.
- Identifies requirements, plans for, organizes, and distributes authorized personnel resources.
- Develops concepts, guidance, policies and plans to assure compliance with requirements of Statute, Department of Defense and Department of the Army.
- Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets priorities and establishes schedules for work completion.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.

- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Direct deposit of pay is required.
