Management (Manager/Director of Staff)

Remote/Hybrid•Fort Gregg-Adams, VA (Off-Site/Hybrid)
- Director for Mission Services, managing a portfolio with multiple contracts supporting military services and joint service organizations to include US Army, US Navy, and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). Responsible for the business development line of effort within the Mission Services Business Unit, in order to grow Soliel’s services throughout the Department of Defense, federal agencies, and Virginia state government organizations. Must be capable of managing a diverse and geographically disperse workforce. Responsible for talent management and budget management for assigned contracts within the portfolio. Provide support to Soliel’s Capture Team efforts to develop, write, and review government solicitation proposals related to the Mission Services Business Unit. Conduct liaison with DoD agencies, Combatant Commands and component staffs, and public and private agencies and institutions in support of Soliel’s goals and objectives.
- Required Management experience:
o At least five (5) years’ experience as a Program Manager, managing a portfolio with multiple contracts and leading Project Managers and Teams
o Experience directly interfacing and coordinating with Installation Contracting Offices, Contracting Officers, Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs), and Technical Points of Contract (TPOCs)
o Experience leading a team to develop, write, staff and review solicitation proposals
o Outstanding written and oral communications
o Experience researching and incorporating data drawn from a wide range of sources.
o Experience coordinating and hosting meetings/events related to contract activities
- Desired military experience:
o At least twenty (20) years of experience serving in a U.S. military agency as military or civilian in progressively responsible command and staff positions.
o Minimum of six (6) years’ extensive experience with service or joint staff organization, functions and procedures.
o Minimum of three (3) years’ experience with service or joint doctrine, to include maneuver, fires, maneuver support, and sustainment operations.
o Minimum of six (6) years’ extensive experience with service or joint organizations, operations, and exercises at levels comparable to Army Corps.
- Education: Possess a minimum of a master’s degree from an accredited college or university. Senior service college graduate desired but not required.
- Clearance: Current Secret Clearance and Top Secret Eligible
- Location: Richmond or Newport News, Virginia
