MTSI is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer with expertise in the Universal Command and Control Interface (UCI) and autonomy integration to support next-generation air systems. This role focuses on enabling seamless communication between mission systems and autonomous capabilities through UCI-compliant architecture and modern DevSecOps practices. Responsibilities
- Support UCI-based integration of autonomy and mission systems across platforms.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders and contractor teams to define interface requirements and data exchange standards.
- Contribute to development of interface control documents, architecture views, and integration specifications.
- Work with DevSecOps teams to enable secure and rapid deployment of mission software.
- Participate in technical reviews, integration events, and working groups to guide architecture alignment.
- Ensure compliance with DoD open architecture and digital engineering initiatives.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software integration, mission systems, or DevSecOps in a defense environment.
- Knowledge of UCI architecture, message standards, and autonomy-enabling interfaces.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and secure software development practices.
- Must possess an active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI.
Desired
- Experience supporting autonomy development programs or open architecture initiatives.
- Familiarity with MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo), digital thread concepts, and JADC2-related efforts.
- Certifications in DevSecOps, cybersecurity, or cloud-native systems.
- Prior experience with AFLCMC, OSD, or autonomy program offices.
