Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior (Level D) Facilities Plant Maintenance Specialist to join our dynamic team in Mesa, AZ.
Position Responsibilities:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 7 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+5 years' related work, Bachelor+2 years' related work, etc.)
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

- Extensive knowledge of building codes, regulations and safety procedures.
- Maintains awareness of code adherence and provides status to management of any identified issues
- Has specialized knowledge in commercial machinery. Is able to interpret highly complex blueprints and schematics
- Provides guidance to less experienced employees
- Maintains awareness of schedules and deadlines and provides status to management
- Responds to trouble calls and resolves a variety of complex problems
- Has extensive knowledge in all aspects of repair and maintenance of plant and office facilities equipment
- Provides technical expertise in the evaluation of products or equipment and makes recommendations
- Has specialized knowledge in the use of all hand and power tools to construct, renovate and repair facilities and equipment
- Provides training to peers and/or customers on the use of equipment

- Experience reading basic wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings and documents.
- 5 + years' experience working with hand and power tools to construct, renovate and repair facilities and equipment.
- 5+ years' experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives.
- 5+ years' experience in CNC or Autoclave maintenance.
