AI Solutions Architect, Mid

Key Role:

Designs and implements effective AI solution architecture and/or strategy utilizing approaches of various AI technologies and methods to address clients' business problems and needs, while complying with the organization's strategies and business goals, and key ethical considerations. Applies specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge. Develops or contributes to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with some guidance. May review or guide activities of more junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with machine learning, data science, engineering research, or computer vision
  • 2+ years of experience with scripting languages, including Python or Bash
  • 2+ years of experience with open-source containerization and container orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
  • 2+ years of experience with distributed systems or cloud platforms, including Azure, AWS, or GovCloud
  • Experience with developing data and machine learning solutions for big data problems
  • Experience with data brokers, including Kafka, Confluent, RabbitMQ, Pandas, or RedPanda
  • Experience with MLOps for production and machine learning workloads
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree


Additional Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with architecting and implementing CI/CD pipelines for software development teams
  • Experience with deploying Kubernetes in a platform or Cloud offerings, including GCP, AWS, or Azure
  • Experience with Kubernetes distribution managers, including k3d or Minikube
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, including Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
  • Experience with data streaming, ETL, and data warehousing technologies
  • Experience with automation and testing software suites, including Jenkins, SonarQube, Anchore, Twistlock, or PyTest
  • Experience with DoD information systems
  • Information Security Certification, including Security+ or CISSP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
