Digital Engineer

Key Role:

Perform as a forward-thinking digital engineer, passionate about solving complex problems through a systematic approach, strong technical skills, and data-centric analysis to answer critical questions. Work independently while collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders. Implement Model-Based Systems Engineering ( MBSE ) approaches and develop digital threads to support full lifecycle engineering and operations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience performing systems engineering analysis and developing systems engineering products for government systems or mission critical systems
  • 2+ years of experience with requirement development and management using digital engineering
  • 2+ years of experience with practical MBSE for the development of technical specifications, interface control documents, and system architecture, including using digital engineering tools such as Cameo or MagicDraw, SparxEA, DOORS, or IBM Rhapsody
  • 2+ years of experience with Systems Modeling Language ( SysML )
  • Ability to perform multiple systems engineering and program management functions in support of program milestone reviews
  • Ability to communicate effectively and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, and asso cia te contractor stakeholders or teammates, to achieve program goals
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field


Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Looker Studio
  • Experience with MATLAB, STK, Model Center , or Team Center
  • Experience analyzing and translating system requirements into design
  • Experience with programming automation, including Python and Java
  • Experience with full-stack development, including RESTFul APIs, Node.js, JavaScript, and React, or generative AI technologies
  • Experience with space programs, and small satellite systems or DoD space systems
  • Knowledge of DoD Architecture Framework ( DoDAF )
  • Possession of excellent problem-solving and detail-oriented skills
  • Master's degree in Engineering
  • OMG Certified Systems Model Professional ( OCSMP ) and INCOSE SE Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
