Responsibilities/Overview:
- Conduct onboarding demonstrations and interactive sessions for customer data science teams, highlighting platform features and best practices for using Databricks, JupyterHub, and AWS SageMaker/Bedrock.
- Assist customer teams in achieving their initial onboarding goals, including setting up access, provisioning clusters, utilizing pipelines, experimenting with models, and managing promotion workflows.
- Act as a technical liaison for customer users during onboarding, helping them translate platform capabilities into practical value for their specific needs.
- Develop secure, reproducible data science workflows involving data preparation, feature engineering, and model building using Databricks and AWS-native tools.
- Utilize MLflow for managing model versions, tracking experiments, and overseeing model lifecycle.
- Integrate solutions with CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, Bamboo) and infrastructure services (S3, Lambda, RDS).
- Promote transparency, traceability, and secure data handling in accordance with best practices and compliance standards.
- Apply Responsible AI Toolboxes and support ethical AI/ML model governance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Infrastructure, Trustworthy AI, Customer Success) to support onboarding and operational deployment of AI/ML solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Extensive experience in data science roles within cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Proficiency with Databricks, JupyterHub, MLflow, Bitbucket, and AWS services (S3, Lambda, SageMaker, Bedrock).
- Strong command of Python, SQL, R, and Spark.
- Experience working in regulated or government settings.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary Range: $130,000 - $155,000+ depending on experience.
- Benefits Package: Includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Paid Time Off, Sick Leave (as required by law), and Holidays.
