SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Subject Matter Expert (SME) Software Engineer and Tester to support US Army requirements in the Europe & Africa Area of Responsibility (AOR).

SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Subject Matter Expert (SME) Software Engineer and Tester to support US Army requirements in the Europe & Africa Area of Responsibility (AOR).
Essential Job Duties
- Lead software application development and integration efforts across multiple platforms, employing Agile best practices throughout the lifecycle.
- Oversee the capture, analysis, management, and verification of requirements, as well as integration analysis.
- Direct the development of software products, including source code, adhering to DoD guidelines, STIGs, and IEEE 12207.
- Manage the submission of release packages with service validation and test results for government approval.
- Ensure the maintenance of application documentation in accordance with DoD guidelines.
Minimum Requirements
- An active Secret security clearance with an SSBI.
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years' experience, or an Associate's degree with a minimum of 14 years' experience, or a high school diploma with a minimum of 16 years' experience.
- DOD Cyber Work Force (DCWF) 622 Certs: CISSP or CSC or GCLD or GCSA or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint for document management and various administrative tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders and organize materials for In-Progress Review (IPR) meetings.
- Experience producing metrics and reports using Microsoft Office tools.
- Proven administrative support experience, assisting contractor management with various tasks and projects.
- Demonstrated history of discretion, independent judgment, and self-direction.
Work Environment
- Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in deployed locations.
- Core hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0600 - 1700.
- May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
- It is anticipated that contractor personnel will be required to travel on Temporary Duty (TDY) to various CONUS and OCONUS locations based on USAREUR-AF and Mission Partner requirements.
