Master Scheduler, Senior

Tyto Athene is searching for a Master Scheduler, Senior supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) at USAREUR-AF (United States Army Europe & Africa) located in Wiesbaden, Germany. Positions are also available in Poland (BemowoPiskie, Konotop, Swietoszow, Zagan), Netherlands, Romania, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Latvia, and Kosovo.

Responsibilities:

• Provides expertise in scheduling by developing and maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for the organization.
• Analyze forecasts of customer needs, capacity to provide deliverable, and resources to ensure deadlines are met and costs are contained to the maximum extent possible.
• Work closely with various functional teams to coordinate activities and ensure smooth execution of the production schedule.
• Monitor and report on the status of events scheduled and adjust as necessary to meet changing demand on capacity constraints.
• Prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operation more efficiently and effectively.
• Develops project schedules and budgets, monitors tasks, and analyzes performance to meet contractual/project requirements for assigned program.
• Interacts regularly with customers and other industry representatives to ensure conformance to customer requirements.
• Provides direction and mentorship to subordinate staff.

Qualifications

Required:

• US Citizen with active DoD Secret Security Clearance with eligibility for a TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, engineering, operation management or related field.
• 9+ years of relevant experience or 5+ years of position-specific experience with a deep understanding of scheduling methodologies, critical path analysis, resource leveling, and risk management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Mastery of multiple project management software tools, such as Microsoft Project, to support development of complex schedules, analyze project data, and generate reports.
• Capable of anticipating and mitigating risks that could impact the schedule.
• Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Certified Scheduling Technician (CST) or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of United States Army Europe & Africa.

Desired:

• Master's degree in project management, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Experience supporting IT projects.
• PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP), Certified Scheduling Professional (PSP), Project Management Professional (PMP).
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology.
• Strong problem-solving, logic and analytic skills.
• Detail-oriented, as well as able to work well with clients.
• Experience with Virtual Desktop environments.
• Understanding of DoD Military Standards.
