Overview
10x National Security is seeking a highly motivated and skilled ServiceNow Developer to support mission-critical initiatives across the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. As a ServiceNow Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining custom workflows and applications on the ServiceNow platform, enabling agile, secure, and scalable enterprise services. You’ll work with stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions that are aligned with best practices, security mandates, and our commitment to delivering operational impact — not just promises.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop custom applications and modules on the ServiceNow platform, including workflows, integrations, service catalog items, and user interface customizations.
Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SecOps, and/or CSM, depending on mission needs.
Create and manage Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Data Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, and Scheduled Jobs.
Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST, SOAP, JDBC, and other APIs.
Troubleshoot and resolve defects, performance issues, and incidents related to the ServiceNow platform.
Work collaboratively with system architects, administrators, and business stakeholders to ensure scalable and secure implementations.
Ensure all development follows coding standards, security controls (e.g., STIGs), and documentation requirements in support of ATO/ATO-Lite.
Support DevSecOps pipelines and CI/CD workflows for ServiceNow deployments.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
8+ years of hands-on experience developing on the ServiceNow platform.
Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow Glide API.
Experience with ITSM, custom application development, and integrating third-party tools.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum and ITIL frameworks.
Familiarity with platform performance tuning, data imports/exports, and update set management.
Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
Experience supporting DoD programs with IL5 environments.
