Dorrean is currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager with an Active Top Secret clearance for a contract role with a Federal agency in Washington, DC and Key West, FL.

Responsibilities:

• Lead team on large projects or significant segments of large complex projects.

• Facilitate the strategic management process and provide consulting expertise and project management for specific strategic initiatives that are deemed high risk or critical to success of the Unit/Section.

• Provide applications systems analysis and programming activities for multiple Government sites and /or facilities.

• Oversee all aspects of projects, including the preparation of long and short-range plans for necessary support resources.

• Track progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, and approved timelines.

• Reports status and variances.

• Creates action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule.

• Demonstrate ability to identify complex project risks, lead constructability reviews, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.

• Implement change management routines to assess change requests, make recommendations, and secure customer approvals.

• Assess change requests to determine impacts to scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk.


Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with at least ten (10) years of complex project management experience in Government programs, projects and/or activities. Educational requirement may be waived if the candidate has fifteen (15) or more years of experience.

• Ten (10) years or more of managing all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality, and risk) for various types of projects.

• Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations.

• Eight (8) years or more experience providing written and oral reports to management, customers and stakeholders regarding progress of projects.
