JRAD is seeking candidates for DGRS Intergovernmental Affairs Specialist supporting ARPA-H.
This position is located in Washington, D.C.
Roles/Responsibilities:
Research, identify, track USG funded programs and conduct cross walk with ARPA-H
programs and program manager concepts to identify agency outreach targets
Identify key programs in relation to ARPA-H programs/mission, and leadership points of
contact within each of the agencies/programs
Build and maintain relationships with USG points of contact
Capture data into Intergovernmental tracking system
Create and maintain a dashboard of HHS interagency engagements and programs
Draft reports on ARPA-H engagement or on potential opportunities as required
Create presentations tailored to agency/divisions, support outreach and scheduling with
agency contacts as required
Required Skills and Education:
2-4 years experience with identifying government funding or grants opportunities
2-4 years working with or in the federal government and/or engagement with the
executive branch
2-4 years experience in outreach and engagement with government and/or corporate
SMEs, leadership
Experience with contracts research, management tracking tools
Must be detailed, diplomatic, with excellent communication, research, and writing skills,
and flexible to juggle various projects at once
Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel, etc., and other related presentation and tracking
software tools
Bachelor’s degree
Desired Experience:
2-3 years in an ARPA setting
