Elucidation Concepts, an independently owned subsidiary of SSAI, is hiring a Baseband-Savvy CNO Developer with 10+ years of experience in reverse engineering, vulnerability research, and embedded development. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) and involves working on cutting-edge cybersecurity projects that support critical national security missions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in baseband platforms, cellular protocols (2G, 3G, LTE, 5G), and advanced exploitation techniques .

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct reverse engineering of baseband firmware and radio protocols to identify vulnerabilities.
- Perform vulnerability research (VR) and develop exploits targeting baseband platforms such as Shannon and MediaTek.
- Debug and analyze crash dumps from mobile devices to uncover security flaws.
- Utilize software-defined radio (SDR) systems for emulating GSM, LTE, and 5G base stations.
- Develop custom tools and techniques for Computer Network Operations (CNO) targeting baseband communication processors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate findings into mission-critical cybersecurity strategies.
- Stay ahead of emerging cellular security threats, attack surfaces, and exploitation techniques.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (10+ years experience) or Master's degree in Computer Science (8+ years experience).
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in reverse engineering, embedded development, or vulnerability research.
- Proven expertise in debugging and exploiting baseband firmware vulnerabilities.
- Strong understanding of cellular protocols and 3GPP standards.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) is required.
- Reverse Engineering Tools: IDA Pro, Ghidra, ARM32 Decompiler
- Baseband Platforms: Shannon, MediaTek
- Debugging Tools: SDR boards, open-source BTS software
- Programming Languages: C, C++, Python
- Cellular Protocols: GSM (2G), UMTS (3G), LTE (4G), NR (5G)
- Exploitation Frameworks: Metasploit modules for baseband vulnerabilities
- Offensive Security Certified Expert (OSCE)
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- Practical Baseband Exploitation Training
- Relevant cellular network security certifications
