Description
Leidos is looking for a Training Requirements Manager. The successful candidate will apply strong organizational and management skills to ensure success for a large, complex program. The Training Requirements Manager must possess outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as be a strategic and critical thinker to identify process improvements and drive the team to tangible and targeted results. Qualified candidates will collaborate with a multi-functional team to identify, process, and finalize training requirements in a dynamic environment. The Training Requirements Manager must possess and maintain a current TS/SCI with polygraph clearance to qualify for this position.

Leidos is looking for a Training Requirements Manager. The successful candidate will apply strong organizational and management skills to ensure success for a large, complex program. The Training Requirements Manager must possess outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as be a strategic and critical thinker to identify process improvements and drive the team to tangible and targeted results. Qualified candidates will collaborate with a multi-functional team to identify, process, and finalize training requirements in a dynamic environment. The Training Requirements Manager must possess and maintain a current TS/SCI with polygraph clearance to qualify for this position.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage projects in support of multiple, overlapping training events from inception to completion as identified by senior management.
- Identify and coordinate resources against dynamic requirements to accommodate multiple training and senior management requirements.
- Implement effective and purposeful processes in support of dynamic training requirements.
- Design processes to capture real-time metrics and assess workflow for improvement strategies.
- Manage security requirements within budget and tight time frames for external resources.
- Provide support to senior customer managers.
- Effectively collaborate, coordinate, and communication with project team, instructors, and senior management.
- Collaborate across program to facilitate training development and project schedules.
- Prioritize resource requirements and facilitate distribution of work to create balanced workload to the team.
- Provide orientation for new customers.
- Identify process improvements.
- Mange training requirements and coordinate tasks between multi-functional teams using a proprietary systems.
- Effectively communicate and deconflict requirements between multi-functional teams to ensure requirements are priorities and completed within milestones and deadlines. Work to secure alternatives for success if milestones are not met or fall behind.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree and 12+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
- Critical thinker with innovative problem-solving skills.
- Strategic and creative mindset.
- Familiar with traditional and modern training processes.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience working with Senior Managers is critical.
- Experience with customer systems, including logistics systems and/or ability to learn those systems.
- Experience managing programs.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using and/or creating JIRA projects and/or Confluence spaces to track and manage projects.
- Experience working with reporting metrics.
- Experience as an executive officer or equivalent.
