Primary Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance secure software applications and systems
- Integrate new software into evolving operational environments
- Analyze user needs to craft efficient and scalable solutions
- Debug and optimize existing software for performance and reliability
- Implement complex algorithms that meet rigorous technical standards
- Create and maintain system documentation and technical reports
- Collaborate in Agile Scrum teams to deliver rapid, high-quality releases
Basic Qualifications
- 20+ years of software engineering experience on comparable programs
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in Java for backend development
- Strong knowledge of Git, Linux, Jira, Eclipse, and Confluence
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue)
- Proven ability to lead technical efforts and ensure code quality
