Description
Improve the efficiency and quality of facility projects Address challenges in project coordination, supervision, and adherence to safety and quality standards, which improves project timelines and reduces cost Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction crews for facilities projects Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate project execution Oversee daily site operations, ensuring work stays on schedule Conduct job site inspections to maintain quality standards and safety compliance, including OSHA regulations Maintain clear communication with project managers, stakeholders, and internal teams Train new crew members and mentor less experienced staff in best practices Track work progress and report on project milestones and any issues encountered to project management Troubleshoot and resolve problems that may arise during project lifecycle Foster a collaborative work environment, resolving conflicts and promoting team cohesion Other duties as assigned

Salary: $90,000 - 110,000

Requirements
Education/Training:
- Associate's Degree in construction management or related field, or a certification/license in a skilled trade (electrician, carpenter, etc.)
- OSHA 10 or 30 Certificate
- First Aid/CPR Certification preferred
Experience:
- 2+ years of direct experience as a foreman on construction or facilities projects
- Advanced knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction plans
- Strong understanding of OSHA guidelines, building codes, and safety standards
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Must have a valid driver's license (for periodic operation of company or government vehicles)
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role on facilities projects
- Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System such as MAXIMO
Security:
- Must be a US citizen
- Candidate must be in possession of a minimum DoD issued Secret Clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms
- Frequent wrist, hand, and finger movements while using a computer or measuring tools
- Have the dexterity to see fine print and use hand and precision measuring tools
- Adhering to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
- Able to safely lift and carry up to 80 pounds at a time
