Location: Washington, DC Metro Area (Hybrid: 2–3 days/week onsite at the Pentagon)
Clearance Requirement: Active Secret Clearance Required (TS/SCI Eligibility Highly Preferred)
Salary: $140,000 - $160,000
Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Control Systems Cyber Consultant to join
our cyber resilience team supporting mission-critical federal initiatives. The ideal candidate will
bring 3–5 years of hands-on experience in cyber assessments and operational resilience to lead
and execute a wide range of cybersecurity assessment activities focused on critical
infrastructure protection and energy/mission assurance.
Key Responsibilities
● Provide execution oversight for cyber assessment activities, including:
○ Mission Assurance assessments
○ Energy Resilience Readiness Exercises (ERRE)
○ Cyber Resilience Readiness Exercises (CRRE)
○ Defense Critical Infrastructure (DCI) evaluations
● Design and plan customized assessment engagements tailored to unique operational
environments.
● Develop and implement targeted mitigation strategies and recovery frameworks to
bolster system and mission resilience.
● Align workforce roles, responsibilities, and certification requirements with assessment
protocols and incident response capabilities.
● Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across defense, infrastructure, and
cyber domains.
Required Qualifications
● 3–5 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, mission assurance, or infrastructure
assessments.
● Demonstrated knowledge of control systems and operational resilience frameworks in
government or defense environments.
● Experience conducting or supporting ERRE, CRRE, or similar exercises.
● Strong understanding of cyber mitigation planning, incident recovery, and assessment
frameworks.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings and
strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
● MUST hold an Active Secret security clearance.
● Ability to be onsite at the Pentagon 2–3 times per week for secure network access
(SIPR/JWICS).
Preferred Qualifications
● TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
● Prior experience supporting DoD, DHS, or other federal cyber mission areas.
● Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, or similar.
