Salesforce Data Visualization Analyst (Tableau)

Location: Remote

HigherEchelon's Salesforce Practice is seeking a talented and versatile Salesforce Data Visualization Analyst (Tableau) to join our team. This role is primarily focused on building visually compelling, user-friendly dashboards and reports to drive data-informed decision-making across federal Salesforce implementations. In addition to strong Tableau expertise, candidates with experience in Salesforce configuration or QA (Quality Assurance) processes are highly desirable, as this role may support multiple areas of delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define KPIs for Salesforce data reporting.

• Design, develop, and optimize interactive Tableau dashboards and reports using Salesforce and other integrated data sources.

• Perform deep data analysis to uncover trends, correlations, and actionable insights that inform program strategy and operational performance.

• Build and maintain scalable data models and visualization frameworks for Salesforce implementations.

• Conduct data validation and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy and reliability of dashboards.

• Continuously improve existing reports and dashboards based on feedback and evolving business needs.

• Work closely with Salesforce administrators and data teams to ensure data integrity and availability.

• Provide user training and support to promote self-service analytics and adoption of Tableau reports.

• Present complex findings in a clear, accessible format to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server, including best practices for visual storytelling and performance optimization.

• Experience designing dashboards that aggregate and display data from Salesforce and other systems.

• Ability to follow 508 compliance standards and apply UI/UX best practices in data visualization.

• Strong analytical and data manipulation skills; able to manage large and complex data sets.

• Working knowledge of SQL or similar data query tools for extracting and preparing data (preferred).

• Familiarity with Salesforce data models, reporting structures, and integrations.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings to business users.

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote-first team.

Desired Skills:

• Experience or exposure to Salesforce configuration, including reports, dashboards, and declarative automation tools.

• Background in QA or test support, including validating report data and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder.

• Experience with CRM Analytics (formerly Tableau CRM), Power BI, or other BI tools.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience.

• Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience developing visualizations using Tableau, CRM Analytics, or Power BI.

• Tableau Data Analyst Certification required; Tableau Server Administrator Certification is a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

• U.S. Citizenship required.

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
