This role is critical to leading integrated scheduling efforts across complex, high-visibility programs and initiatives. We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Integrated Planning & Scheduling Specialist to join the Chief Technology Office (CTO) IP&S team supporting the Digital Capabilities & Network (DC&N) organization. This role is critical to leading integrated scheduling efforts across complex, high-visibility programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in project scheduling, cross-functional collaboration, and earned value management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of schedulers and oversee integration of multiple project schedules.
- Develop, coordinate, and maintain integrated plans and schedules for complex programs and change-driven activities.
- Perform high-level schedule analysis including trend, variance, and impact assessments.
- Identify risks and opportunities, develop mitigation strategies, and refine business cases.
- Generate "what-if" scenarios and support project managers with schedule-based decision-making.
- Consult on and implement best practices in integrated planning, scheduling, change, and baseline management.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders to define requirements and project objectives.
- Authorize resource commitments and oversee deployment of approved recommendations across divisions and business units.
- ACTIVE Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Special Program Access.
- Proven experience working with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones and geographic locations.
- Strong background in developing and managing project schedule baselines.
- Proficiency in managing complex integrated schedules and resource-loaded schedules.
- Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
- Proficiency with scheduling tools such as Open Plan Professional (OPP), Microsoft Project, or Milestone Professional.
- Experience integrating schedules across large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects.
- Top Secret Clearance
- 10+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
- Background in early development programs and proposal scheduling.
- Bachelor's degree and typically 10+ years of related experience, or
- Master's degree with typically 8+ years of related experience, or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
