We are seeking a skilled and proactive Linux Systems Administrator to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing and maintaining systems running Ubuntu and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our Linux-based environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu and RHEL).
• Monitor system performance and ensure availability and reliability.
• Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
• Manage system backups and disaster recovery operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Maintain system security through access controls, firewalls, and regular audits.
• Automate routine tasks using shell scripts or configuration management tools.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support application deployment and infrastructure needs
