Tygart is currently seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to provide direct support to a Department of Justice (DoJ) customer. The selected candidate will support a combination of program management, IT operations, and intelligence-related tasks for the following units:
National Strategic Partnership and Coordination Unit
Executive Liaison, Strategy, and Communications Unit
Information Sharing and Analysis Unit
A current Top Secret security clearance is required for this position.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and update applications in a cloud development environment.
Support and administer on-premises testing and production virtual servers.
Collaborate with agency enterprise developer services to transition applications into a full DevOps process.
Assist the development team with system upgrades and deployments across multiple environments.
Partner with security teams to mitigate vulnerabilities and maintain system documentation.
Schedule, process, and document system deliveries and implementations.
Monitor and resolve issues reported by application users.
Research and respond to development team questions and technical challenges.
Required Qualifications:
Active Top Secret security clearance
Minimum of four (4) years of relevant Systems Administrator experience, including:
Managing system delivery schedules and documentation
Supporting on-premises environments from both software and security perspectives
Guiding software changes through a customized approval process
Experience using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) for backups, restores, and script execution
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, and SharePoint
Bachelor’s Degree
An additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement
