HOW A CONTENT CURATOR (FARSI) WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Requires native-level fluency in Farsi and excellent English.
- Knowledge of the region and regional issues is required.
- Must be proficient in the nuances of required languages including grammar and journalism editing standards.
- Researches local and regional media to identify coverage angles and screen content nominations, providing translations, assisting in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, and technical tasks associated with internet-based publications.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree required; experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
- Experience: 5+ years' experience required Journalism experience, including experience writing or editing for internet-based or print news publications is highly preferred.
- Security clearance level: Active DoD Secret clearance required (minimum); accepted candidates will be submitted for TS/SCI.
- Skills and abilities: Ability to work nonstandard hours and in on-call status for periods of time may be required. Select candidates will be language tested.
