GCI is seeking an Expert-level Technical targeter to help plan, execute, and coordinate cyber projects. A successful candidate will work independently to support cyber programs by understanding needs and implementing cyber solutions. This position requires significant experience working with and advising stakeholders on successful courses of action.

The technical targeter will deploy from the U.S. to an overseas conflict zone on the following schedule:
This cycle will occur twice each year, totaling approximately five months of work. This position is high impact mission work. While deployed, the targeter will likely work 10-16 hour days for six or seven days a week. The targeter will not work during the remaining parts of the year (i.e., between and before/after deployments).

- Design and conduct technical cyber projects, demonstrating technical subject matter expertise
- Advise stakeholders and guide through successful project implementation
- Produce written evaluations and project reports as requested
- Create, edit, and deploy strategic communications products
- Show initiative and generate targeting solutions
- Data triage
- Enrich and shape project processes, leading to successful implementation and wrap-up
Required Skills
- Demonstrated targeting experience
- Experience with offensive and defensive cyber concepts
- Demonstrated ability to explain technical solutions to an audience of varying technical understanding
- Experiencing prioritizing projects to implement
- Understanding of rules and regulations governing each project
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Prior travel experience
Key Information:
The technical targeter will deploy from the U.S. to an overseas conflict zone on the following schedule:
- One week in Tyson's Corner area for pre-deployment coordination;
- Sixty days (approximately) at deployment site;
- One week in Tyson's Corner area for post-deployment debriefs and coordination.
