Scrum Master
Job Summary
B&A is seeking an experienced and certified Scrum Master to lead agile software development teams in a dynamic and mission-driven environment. The Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating Scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, and ensuring the team adheres to agile principles and practices. This role will support and educate the Government Product Owner, foster transparency, and promote continuous improvement across multiple scrum teams.

This role will support and educate the Government Product Owner, foster transparency, and promote continuous improvement across multiple scrum teams.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Monitor scrum processes and meetings to ensure productivity and quality.
- Remove impediments or guide the team to remove them by identifying the right personnel.
- Support internal and external communication to improve transparency and information flow.
- Assist the Government Product Owner in grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
- Organize and lead backlog refinement sessions and sprint ceremonies with stakeholders.
- Promote agile best practices and coach team members on Scrum principles.
- Track and report team progress using agile metrics and tools.
- Lead multiple scrum teams in large-scale software implementation projects.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master for software development teams.
Required Skills
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
- Proven experience leading multiple scrum teams in large software implementations.
- Demonstrated technical management and supervisory experience.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on software development experience.
Desired Skills
- Experience in DoD Healthcare IT environments.
- Familiarity with agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Security Clearance
- Eligible to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
