Precise Systems is seeking a highly self-motivated, successful Payroll Supervisor in a fast-paced government contracting environment with multi-state, multi-cycle payrolls.

Hybrid/Remote work schedule. 2 days per week in office, in Reston, VA required.

Duties:
  • This position will have processing support as well as Supervisor duties in the processing of multiple payroll cycles (semi-monthly and bi-weekly) for a variety of types of employees (800+), including employees subject to Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS) and Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA)
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education:
  • Minimum High School Diploma (BA preferred)

Required Experience:
  • Minimum 4 years full-cycle payroll experience with organizations of 1000+ employees (may be progressive in employee count experience)
  • ADP Workforce Now - Subject Matter Expert
  • Use of Government Contractor Software - DELTEK COSTPOINT IS A PLUS
  • Proven experience with complex pay requirements for both SCLS and CBA-type payrolls
  • Firm grasp of the end-to-end business process and strong understanding of payroll requirements, laws, and regulations for employees working in the United States
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and complete tasks in order of importance
  • Experience with complex timesheet and payroll situations that require detailed knowledge of system functionality
  • Government Contracting experience is needed for this role for a candidate to be the subject matter expert to the organization
  • Proficiency in using various software, applications, and programs, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Positive, customer-service focus with the ability to actively listen, elicit information, comprehend customer issues/needs, and recommend solutions
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, follow through on projects from conception to completion, and complete work accurately and timely with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated initiative/self-motivation, eagerness to learn, and attention to detail
  • Flexible and willing to adjust to the needs and priorities of a growing business.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $66,918.69-$100,378.03 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.
