Senior Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) - TS
Xcelerate Solutions is Senior - Information Security Specialist (ISSE). Be an integral part of a team in managing baseline information system security controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of FBI networks, systems, and data. This role contributes to secure information sharing between CJIS and its partners and requires personnel with demonstrated expertise in meeting Revised Section 508 Standards. A core focus of this program is maintaining and modernizing a comprehensive lifecycle security model that governs all CJIS Division information systems and services. Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated ability to brief diverse audiences on technical matters and convey information clearly and concisely; Experience preparing written reports and oral presentations for designed projects for presentation to a variety of individuals within and outside the organization;
- Expert level of understanding of Cloud Security Providers (CSP) and secure engineering and design of cloud-based solutions via automation; Experience and working knowledge of security for cloud technologies and services, specifically AWS and Microsoft AZURE;
- Expert level experience and knowledge of government security standards and industry best practices including the NIST RMF and NIST security and privacy controls. Experience conducting industry research to create detailed reports, whitepapers, and technical comparisons; Working knowledge of agile development methodology specifically including Scaled-Agile Framework (SAFe), lean systems development, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methodology;
- Significant hands-on experience implementing, operating, and maintaining infrastructure and applications; Experience within diverse teams of architects, developers and integrators;
- Experience leading or co-leading technology projects with enterprise dependencies;
- Experience developing, maintaining, and revising policies and guidelines relating to information security.
Minimum Requirements:
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance
- 10 years of experience, Master Degree
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Cloud Cert preferred
