Northrop Grumman Microelectronics Center (NGMC) is seeking a Systems Engineer / Principal Systems Engineer. This position is located in Baltimore, MD. (Linthicum / Annapolis Junction)

This position will serve on-site in Linthicum/ Annapolis Junction, MD.
This role can be filled as either a Systems Engineer or Principal Systems Engineer.

Salary Range: $85,400.00 - $134,200.00Salary Range 2: $105,400.00 - $165,500.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Northrop Grumman Microelectronics Center (NGMC) is seeking a Systems Engineer / Principal Systems Engineer. This position is located in Baltimore, MD. (Linthicum / Annapolis Junction)
What You'll get to Do:
- Support milestone reviews (e.g., SRR, SFR, SDR, PDR, CDR, SVR, TRR, peer reviews, Pre-test reviews, Post Test Reviews, Pre-Ship reviews, Etc.
- Ensure system technical compliance with the program Statement of Work (SOW) and system requirements.
- Manage the vertical and horizontal technical integration throughout the product teams and program life cycle.
- Work on an array of CMOS Digital Technology and Custom Hardware (HW, SW, and FW).
- Collect, manage, and report the program metrics and Technical Performance Measures (TPMs).
- Manage risk and opportunity and the production of core engineering work products and track the work products and associated program dependencies in the program schedule.
- Coordinate between the System Architect, SEIT Leads, Product Team Lead(s), program manager, and customer to ensure the integrity and executability of the program technical baseline.
- Align measurement objectives and activities to meet program performance goals and objectives.
This position will serve on-site in Linthicum/ Annapolis Junction, MD.

- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree and 0 years of related experience.
- Knowledge of the Systems Engineering process decomposing top level objectives into requirements and design specifications.
- Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering principles.
- Familiarity with Agile Methods & Waterfall processes.
- Familiarity with the use of Confluence and Jira.
- Proactive, independent, driven to take initiative and complete tasks without constant supervision.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Clearance : Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance per customer requirements .
Basic Qualifications for Principal Systems Engineer:
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university with at least 5 years of experience; 3 years with Master's Degree; OR 1 years with a PhD
- Knowledge of the Systems Engineering process decomposing top level objectives into requirements and design specifications.
- Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering principles.
- Familiarity with Agile Methods & Waterfall processes.
- Familiarity with the use of Confluence and Jira.
- Proactive, independent, driven to take initiative and complete tasks without constant supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Systems Engineering.
- Experience in test engineering and test execution.
- Experience with interpretation, derivation, and allocation of requirements.
- Experience with creating and releasing Systems Engineering diagrams including requirement traceability diagrams, requirements verification and data objective artifacts.
- Experience using CAMEO and DOORS.
- Current active TS/SCI Clearance with Poly.
