Reports to the MTSI Army and Missile Defense Division, Missile Defense Services Business Unit Chief Engineer to provide digital transformation and architecture expertise across the Division customer set with particular focus on the Missile Defense Agency, Army RCCTO and Army PEO's.

- Analyze and recommend improvements to existing DoD customer infrastructure and service offerings, including guidance and support in modernizing and securing networks and refactoring applications and migrating remaining data center applications to cloud.
- Work in partnership with AMD customers to understand and participate in the development of new mission support IT strategies assessing current and future skills and technologies to support emerging mission needs.
- Make recommendations to the customer in the shaping of the future of enterprise architecture and roadmaps for the command. Assesses DoD frameworks (DoDAF, UAF, TOGAF) and helps to ensure implemented use cases adhere to that framework.
- Develop digital ecosystem architectures and solutions focusing on scalability and extensibility.
- Define digital platform architecture frameworks, including design methodology and best practices to be used as a reference for the Architecture team.
- Develop digital ecosystems that support multi-level security solutions
- Support Corporate business development and proposal activities centered on digital ecosystems
Required skills/Qualifications :
- Must be able to meet with stakeholders in a variety of system domains and analyze requirement, process, system, and/or capability
- Must be able to develop digital ecosystem designs to meet customer needs, implement the solution and develop sustainment roadmaps
- Must be capable of performing analysis of system operations
- Must Interact and professionally exhibit customer service skills and be able to present a positive approach with customers and peers
- Experience modeling complex systems for Department of Defense or other government organizations
- Experience publishing models to web-based or document-based formats
- Experience in a rapid paced, time sensitive, high quality environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills along with strong customer service
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize commitments, and manage time effectively including attention to detail
- Experience with deploying COTS and other commercial offerings to DoD environments
- Security Clearance: minimum Top Secret. Must be able to obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility. Active TS/SCI preferred
- Experience/Qualifications: 10+ years developing and implementing Digital Engineering capabilities to DoD customers; Deep understanding of DoD digital transformation vision, guidelines, goals; Experience developing and leading DoD digital ecosystem implementation
- Certifications: Security+ CE or CASP+ or CCSP or Cloud+ or CISSP or CSSLP or other DoD 8140 certification
- Educational Requirements: Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer science or other applicable technical area
