Solidus is hiring a Senior Linux Automation System Administrator. This is an on-site role based in Aurora, CO.
Day in the Life:
- Building, maintaining, and securing Information Technology systems and directly supporting customer mission-critical capabilities using industry standard automation tools
- Work closely with program developers and system engineers to research issues, determine root causes, and implement solutions to system problems
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- US Citizen with an active TS/SCI CI Poly
- Undergo a comprehensive background investigation
- Must be able to support occasional after-hours maintenance and on-call support and must be able to lift up to 35 pounds in support of hardware installations.
- Occasional travel may be required for installation support
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience OR a master's degree and minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience
- An active cyber security certification, qualified for DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 on start date. IAT Level 2 requires one or more of the following Professional Certifications: Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, CND
- Experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) based systems
- Using and developing automation tools/frameworks such as Ansible, as well as scripting, primarily Bash and Python
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Deployment and administration of systems, storage, and networking in virtualized environments using VMware vCenter
- Experience managing network devices
- Experience administering Windows-based systems
- Experience with pipeline tools such as Jenkins and Artifactory
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems with efficiency
