A Global Government Contracting Company is seeking a Cleared Network Engineer to join their team in Boulder, CO!
This role is 100% onsite and will be a 9/80 schedule.
Job Description :
In this role with the Operations & Sustainment team, you be responsible for the successful implementation, integration, and sustainment support of a multi-site classified network with a variety of locations and vendor hardware.
Responsibilities for a Network Engineer include but are not limited to:
Configuration and management of Juniper and Cisco switches and routers, firewalls, and support to system administration team in deployment at new sites.
Support the design, build, test, and troubleshoot computer systems.
Network and System Administration.
Workstation and server configuration.
Maintenance and troubleshooting.
Working with the System Administrator, Hardware, and Software teams to maintain/update system.
Install/build rack mounted systems.
Basic Qualifications :
Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ certification
Hands-on experience designing, deploying and managing LAN and WAN networks
Experience with Linux/RHEL
Experience with Juniper/Cisco
Desired skills :
Experience in SPACE Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Systems
Sound knowledge of network architecture, topologies, engineering, design, implementation, and testing
Familiarity with communication products including router, switches, firewalls, Domain Name Servers (DNS) and data encryption products.
Certifications in the industry vendors Juniper/Cisco
Understanding of standard DoD security practices such as, STIG/RMF compliance and system accreditation implementation efforts
Experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytic tools
Network and Linux/RHEL automation utilizing Ansible
Virtualization utilizing VMWare
Document existing and new network architectures using Visio
Looking for the following levels:
E3 candidates with an advanced degree and 7+ years experience or bachelors with 9+ years experience,
E2 with an advanced degree and 12+ years experience or bachelors with 14+ years experience
