The Delivery Lead oversees and leads the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale IT programs. They are responsible for ensuring that multiple IT projects align with the strategic goals of the organization and are executed efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong leadership, project management expertise, and a deep understanding of IT systems, technologies, and business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program Leadership:
o Lead and manage multiple IT programs, ensuring they are aligned with business objectives and strategies.
o Develop program plans, define scope, objectives, and timelines, and allocate resources effectively.
o Establish and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, business leaders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
o Ability to manage teams across different companies including customer, partners and delivery teams.
2. Strategy & Planning:
o Collaborate with senior leadership to define IT program strategies that align with organizational goals.
o Ensure that program goals, milestones, and deliverables are clearly defined and communicated.
o Develop comprehensive program roadmaps that include risk management strategies and resource planning.
3. Team Management:
o Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT project managers, technical leads, and other program stakeholders.
o Foster a collaborative and productive work environment across teams.
o Ensure teams have the necessary skills, training, and support to succeed.
4. Budget & Resource Management:
o Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and allocation of resources for IT programs.
o Monitor and control program costs to ensure projects stay within budget.
o Ensure the availability of necessary resources, both human and technological, to support program delivery.
5. Compliance Risk & Issue Management:
o Proactively identify potential risks and issues affecting the program’s success and develop mitigation plans.
o Communicate risks and issues to stakeholders and adjust plans as necessary to maintain program momentum.
o Ensure that compliance, security, and regulatory standards are met throughout the program.
o Experience in managing the Federal engagements with compliance requirements such as FedRAMP
6. Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
o Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program progress and success.
o Provide regular reports to senior leadership on program status, including milestones, issues, and resource usage.
o Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and expectations of stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience:
o 15+ years of experience in IT program management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role and AWS Cloud Infrastructure engagement
o Experience managing large-scale, multi-faceted IT programs and cross-functional teams in Telecom Industry
o Proven experience in IT project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
o Experience with and understanding of FedRAMP requirements
o Experience working on Governance Risk and Compliance engagements.
Important Constraints:
o This position requires to be in New Jersey location and working from office for 3 days in a week
o This candidate may need to work outside of regular hours to ensure programs meet deadlines.
o Candidate should be a US Citizen only, no dual citizenships.
