Position Description:
ThinkTek is seeking a Systems Engineering Analyst to provide technical engineering and configuration management support to a high-impact Department of Defense program. This role involves developing and maintaining systems engineering documentation, supporting configuration and requirements management, and overseeing IT and cloud infrastructure activities in support of a state-of-the-art wargaming center.

Position Description:
ThinkTek is seeking a Systems Engineering Analyst to provide technical engineering and configuration management support to a high-impact Department of Defense program. This role involves developing and maintaining systems engineering documentation, supporting configuration and requirements management, and overseeing IT and cloud infrastructure activities in support of a state-of-the-art wargaming center.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development and maintenance of engineering documentation per DoD 5000-series and MCSC guidance
- Provide ongoing configuration management support, including baseline documentation, change proposals, and CM board participation
- Assist with requirements management using tools such as DOORS, ensuring traceability and database integrity
- Maintain configuration databases and contribute to systems architecture planning and updates
- Track and review vendor deliverables for hardware, software, and technical documentation
- Assist in planning and coordinating system engineering meetings, technical reviews, and stakeholder engagements
- Support IT/AV installations and the configuration of wargaming cloud environments, including SOP and automation development
- Provide input on Program Protection Plans and technical point papers for decision-making support
Required:
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 3 years of experience in systems engineering, configuration management, or a related technical field
- Experience with DoD acquisition processes and configuration/requirements tools (e.g., CM PRO, DOORS)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Preferred:
- Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field
- INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP)
- CompTIA Security+
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
