Position Description:
ThinkTek is seeking a Program Manager to lead and coordinate high-visibility efforts for a Department of Defense program. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills and will be responsible for managing cost, schedule, performance, and risk across complex engineering and IT efforts. This position requires a working knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and experience managing technical programs through the full lifecycle.

Position Description:
ThinkTek is seeking a Program Manager to lead and coordinate high-visibility efforts for a Department of Defense program. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills and will be responsible for managing cost, schedule, performance, and risk across complex engineering and IT efforts. This position requires a working knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and experience managing technical programs through the full lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day program management oversight and coordination across stakeholders, contractors, and technical teams
- Track and manage program milestones, deliverables, risks, and schedules
- Lead planning, execution, and reporting activities in alignment with DoD acquisition and systems engineering frameworks
- Collaborate with Government leadership and engineering teams to ensure alignment on priorities, requirements, and execution strategies
- Oversee development and maintenance of program documentation such as acquisition plans, schedules, and technical briefs
- Support resource planning, budget tracking, and contract performance reporting
- Coordinate meetings, reviews, and program updates with both internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to strategic planning and continuous process improvement initiatives
Required:
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 5 years of experience managing complex programs or projects, preferably within the DoD or federal space
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and working with senior government stakeholders
- Strong skills in program planning, risk management, and communication
Preferred:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
- DAWIA Level 2 or 3 in Program Management
- Experience supporting USMC, MCSC, or DoD acquisition programs
