Description
Develop and refine systems engineering and configuration management processes, procedures, and methodologies Create process documentation, work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training material Analyze current state processes and identify improvement opportunities Design future state process maps and implementation roadmaps Facilitate process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies Collaborate with engineering teams to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities Create metrics and reporting frameworks Conduct process audits and compliance assessments Other duties as assigned

Salary: $100,000 - 135,000

Requirements
Education/Training:
- Bachelor's Degree any STEM related field preferred
- Process Improvement certification (Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt) preferred
Experience:
- 2+ years of professional experience in the required task area
- 3+ years of experience in process engineering, or related field
- Must have experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
- Must have experience with process modeling tools
Security:
- Must be a US citizen
- Candidate must be in possession of a minimum DoD issued Secret Clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
- Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
- Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
- Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time
