F-35 Test and Evaluation Technical Analyst
The Opportunity:

As an aerospace engineer on our team, you'll apply expertise in evaluating new technologies, performing risk assessments, and improving the design of aerospace systems. Your experience in DoD acquisition and contract processes is key and makes you an integral part of delivering a client-focused solution.
In this role, you'll contribute to the direction of mission-critical solutions by evaluating, improving, and designing leading-edge aerospace technology. You'll work with a large community of aerospace engineers across the company and collaborate with test engineers and capability developers to evaluate test and evaluation approaches to coordinate testing of aerospace systems in contracts and negotiations for test and evaluation of new Fifth-Generation fighter capabilities. Your engineering knowledge will help clients in an international partnership expand and improve their capabilities to keep the warfighter one step ahead of aggressors .

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 5+ years of experience in test or development of DoD aircraft or weapon s systems
- 3+ years of experience with DoD acquisition or project management, including Basis of Estimate ( BoE ) and contract negotiations
- 2+ years of experience with a flight test program, including developmental or operational tests
- Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes including requirements, contracting, and cost negotiation
- Ability to interpret and synthesize complex technical and cost information, including BoEs and factors driving development and test costs, and communicate conclusions to decision-makers
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with BoE reviews and contract negotiations for DoD system acquisitions or follow-on development
- Experience determining or assessing system test approaches and resources, including labor, test facilities, and test instrumentation
- Ability to learn to use model-based systems engineering and technical collaboration tools, such as Cameo, Team Center , or Confluence
