Software Engineer

Contract Position

Pay Estimated: $62.36-$67.36/Hour

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors, (geographical location, etc.)

Advanced Software Engineer job is available with Moseley Technical Services top Aerospace and Defense company. In this Remote, Work from Home, Telecommute job you will join the SDA GMI program as a cross-functional team member developing and deploying the state-of-the-art ground operational systems

Responsibilities:

• Software application development in a process-oriented organization
• Infrastructure development in a process-oriented organization
• Maintain hardware, software, and related components of project
• Perform infrastructure requirements analysis, participates in research, design, development, and test software and tools, to include development of new work products or enhancing existing applications, systems, or embedded products
• Apply principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to the development of complex architectures

Qualifications:

• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain U.S. Department of Defense Secret security clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field and 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience
• Kafka (required)

• Docker/Kubernetes (required)

Preferred Qualifications:

• DevSecOps (preferred)
• Cloud Services (preferably AWS)
• MPLS/Networking (preferred)
