TEKsystems is searching for a Sr Teamcenter Developer for a partner. This work will be remote with some travel required.
Teamcenter Configurator works with Air Force Capability Support Office (AF CSO) clients to elicit requirements, recommend designs, install Teamcenter and configure product to include BMIDE, workflows and connections to ancillary products (e.g., SQL Server). This position requires an expert understanding of Teamcenter and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. The ideal candidate must be able to elicit functional requirements and assist clients in trade-space analysis to evolve efficient and effective solution configurations. An understanding of configuration best practices and the ability to "firefight" issues to resolution is key. Understanding of Agile software development and the Air Force Product Lifecycle Management arena is ideal. This Configurator will be part of a broader solution team so, expertise in all areas of Teamcenter is not a requirement, however, it is expected that the Configurator is able to install Teamcenter, create business objects / attributes, work with style sheets for data presentation within Teamcenter, interact with the BMIDE to invoke necessary templates, configure simple workflows, configure organization / groups / roles, and collaborate with other team members to resolve issues.
Responsibilities:
Gather requirements from clients
Support trade-space analysis with clients to evolve efficient and effective configurations
Size environments (VMs, GPUs, CPUs, RAM) and advise system administrators on infrastructure needs
Advise on Teamcenter technical stack
Create briefings and technical documents to assist clients in trade-space decisions
Install Teamcenter
Extend Teamcenter data model to support client data management needs
Configure workflows
Support bulk migration of data into Teamcenter
Test deployed solutions and troubleshoot anomalies to resolution
Coordinate issue resolution with GTAC and similar infrastructure / software support activities
Analyze system performance and optimize
Coordinate with Scrum Master, Product Owners, Information System Security Engineering (ISSE), Engineering Subject Matter Experts and Infrastructure/Network administrators on broader team to accomplish objectives
