What You'll Do:
The Senior Risk/Mission Assurance Control Systems Cybersecurity Analyst shall serve as a technical expert to support the MRT-C Mission Mapping Prioritization effort, ensuring alignment with mission-critical cyber operations across the Department of the Air Force Civil Engineer’s critical infrastructure. Responsibilities include developing, executing, and overseeing strategies for prioritization of cyber vulnerabilities based on mission impact and operational risk. The analyst will collaborate closely with stakeholders at all levels, including base-level operational teams and senior Pentagon leadership, to ensure accurate risk assessment, mission alignment, and effective implementation of cybersecurity measures. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of risk management frameworks, mission assurance methodologies, cybersecurity governance, operational technology, and artificial intelligence tools. Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills are required to effectively manage and communicate complex risk and mission assurance strategies.

Minimum Qualifications/What You’ll Bring:
5+ years of experience in Control Systems Cybersecurity
Operational Technology/ICS Cybersecurity – 5+ years securing SCADA, ICS, and OT environments
Vulnerability Prioritization & Mission Mapping – 5+ years developing and executing risk-based prioritization frameworks aligned to mission impact
Risk Management & Mission Assurance – 5+ years implementing NIST RMF, mission assurance methodologies, and DoD strategic priorities
Strategic Briefing & Communication – 5+ years delivering technical briefings and reports to senior Pentagon and base-level leadership
Cybersecurity Governance & Compliance – 5+ years ensuring alignment with NIST CSF, DoD instructions, and Air Force policies
Stakeholder Engagement & Facilitation – 5+ years leading cross-functional collaboration sessions for risk mitigation planning
Project Management – 5+ years managing cybersecurity initiatives, timelines, and deliverables
Technical Analysis & Reporting – 5+ years conducting in-depth risk assessments and translating findings into actionable recommendations
AI & Data Analytics in Cybersecurity – 3+ years applying machine learning or AI tools to enhance vulnerability detection and prioritization
Collaboration & Teamwork – 5+ years working with diverse teams across operational, engineering, and executive level
Education/Credentials:
B.S. in Physics, Engineering, or Computer Science (STEM).
US Citizenship is required for consideration, as this job requires a US government security clearance.
Nice to have – Top Secret security clearance and current SCI access
Acceptable (Minimum) – Secret security clearance
Physical Demands:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position and work on a computer for prolonged periods.

In support of Washington, D.C. pay transparency laws, the estimated salary ranges for these positions are from $80k to $160k. Individual pay will be determined on a wide variety of job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training, location, licensure and certifications, skills, budgets, and market.
