Job Description:

In this role with the Operations & Sustainment team, you will be responsible for the successful implementation, integration, and sustainment support of a multi-site classified network with a variety of locations and vendor hardware. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Configuration and management of Juniper and Cisco switches and routers, firewalls, and support to the system administration team in deployment at new sites.
• Support the design, build, test, and troubleshoot computer systems.
• Network and System Administration.
• Workstation and server configuration.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Working with the System Administrator, Hardware, and Software teams to maintain/update system.
• Install/build rack mounted systems. 

Required Skills:

• Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing LAN and WAN networks.
• Experience with Linux/RHEL.
• Experience with Juniper/Cisco. 

Desired Skills:

• Experience in SPACE Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Systems.
• Sound knowledge of network architecture, topologies, engineering, design, implementation, and testing.
• Familiarity with communication products including router, switches, firewalls, Domain Name Servers (DNS) and data encryption products.
• Certifications in the industry vendors Juniper/Cisco.
• Understanding of standard DoD security practices such as, STIG/RMF compliance and system accreditation implementation efforts.
• Experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytic tools.
• Network and Linux/RHEL automation utilizing Ansible.
• Virtualization utilizing VMWare.
• Document existing and new network architectures using Visio.
