QSSHire is supporting a cleared government partner in their search for a Financial Costing Analyst to join a fast-paced financial team embedded within a high-visibility mission environment. If you're known for your financial savvy, credibility in costing, and expertise in building actionable pricing models, this role is tailored for you.
You’ll play a critical role in supporting accounting functions through advanced costing analysis, helping leadership drive budgetary decisions that impact national priorities. The ideal candidate brings sharp business acumen, experience with Working Capital Funds, and a background rooted in costing methodologies like Activity-Based Costing (ABC).
This is a 100% on-site position in Chantilly, VA, with an annual 1,860-hour commitment. You’ll be part of a secure and dynamic team where your financial expertise directly influences operational planning and resource management.

In This Role, You’ll:
• Develop and maintain complex costing and pricing models for products and services.
• Provide financial and business analysis to support decision-making in a working capital fund environment.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather financial data and translate it into actionable cost structures.
• Utilize Activity-Based Costing (or equivalent methodologies) to model resource consumption and optimize pricing strategies.
• Deliver clear, data-driven briefings and financial deliverables for senior leadership.
• Ensure alignment with Sponsor-specific financial guidelines and systems.
• Act as a strategic partner to business units on cost recovery and financial modeling efforts.

You’ll Succeed Here If You Have:
• An active Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) – this is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Financial Analyst, or similar role in a costing/pricing capacity.
• Experience working with Agency Working Capital Funds or equivalent government financial frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in Excel or other financial modeling tools.
• Credibility in leading cost model development from concept to implementation.

• Experience supporting federal government clients or programs.
• Familiarity with sponsor-specific financial systems and reporting tools.
