The Computer and Information Systems Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of all network engineering and support activities to ensure alignment with customer objectives. They will manage cross-functional teams, guides implementation of enterprise network solutions, and ensures tasks are delivered on time and within compliance standards. The manager directs system lifecycle activities, leads modernization initiatives, and ensures proper integration of new technologies. They will track performance metrics, enforces quality control, and supports risk mitigation and transition planning. Acting as the primary liaison between technical teams and government leadership, the manager ensures clear communication, strategic alignment, and successful delivery of all contract requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee execution of all network engineering and IT support tasks to ensure alignment with customer objectives and contract requirements.
  • Manage cross-functional technical teams, ensuring timely delivery of services across cloud, network, operations, and security domains.
  • Lead planning and implementation of modernization efforts, including integration of new technologies and enhancement of existing systems.
  • Direct all phases of the System Engineering Life Cycle (SELC), ensuring compliance with client and federal guidelines.
  • Develop and monitor project plans, work breakdown structures (WBS), KPIs, CSFs, and performance metrics.
  • Coordinate transition planning and knowledge transfer activities to support continuity of operations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between contractor personnel and customer leadership, facilitating communication and issue resolution.
  • Ensure adherence to change management, risk mitigation, and quality assurance processes.
  • Review and approve technical deliverables, ensuring they meet performance standards and compliance requirements.
  • Support staffing and resource planning to maintain consistent delivery and minimal turnover among key personnel.
  • Oversee training compliance, documentation, and adherence to professional conduct and client-specific policies.

Education:
  • Bachelor's or a master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field

Experience:
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in network engineering, design, and implementation. Experience in enterprise-level networks, including data centers, cloud infrastructure, and large-scale WAN/LAN setups.
  • Proven experience in managing and troubleshooting network protocols, such as TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS.
  • Project management experience leading or working on network-related projects, including design, upgrades, or troubleshooting.

Certifications:
  • CISCO™ Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or
  • CISCO™ Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE).
