A Day in the Life – What You’ll Do
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Juniper and Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls in multi-site classified environments
• Support system administrators with secure network integration and deployment for new site installations
• Design and implement LAN/WAN architectures for the NextGen GEO Operations & Sustainment program
• Build, configure, and maintain rack-mounted systems, servers, and workstations
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and cybersecurity teams to keep complex classified networks running at peak performance
• Maintain system documentation and network architecture diagrams using tools like Visio
• Operate on a 9/80 schedule at the Spine Rd location in Boulder, CO
Is This You?
• Active Secret clearance required, TS/SCI preferred or ability to obtain
• Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ certification
• Level E1 - Bachelor’s Degree + 20 years OR Master’s degree + 18 years in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Level E2 - Bachelor’s Degree + 14 years OR Master’s degree + 12 years in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Detail-oriented, collaborative, proactive troubleshooter with strong documentation and communication skills

System Administration Support:
Linux (RHEL), workstation/server setup, rack-mounted systems, secure DoD environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) space systems
