Senior FBI Insider Threat Analyst

Position Summary
Onyx is seeking a Senior Insider Threat Analyst to support the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) Security Division with analytical and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide intelligence and threat analysis of information that is tailored to InTO (Insider Threat Office) requirements. Review and evaluate incoming reports and information, collection plans, and programs.
• Analyze data, develop information, and assess available solutions or alternative methods of proceeding.
• Develop and project data, estimate probabilities based upon knowledge of current and past program situations, and understand the significance of conditions and trends.
• Communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing. Prepare complete, clear, and concise formal and informal reports, correspondence, briefings, charts, tables, and graphs. Identify impacts and effects of study findings and make recommendations. Prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Prepares finished studies of factual data. Prepare, review, and submit required reports and communicating policies, purpose, and goals of the organization to less senior personnel. Present briefings to personnel designated by program management.
• Provide specialized analysis and production support. Provide intelligence and threat analysis of information that is tailored to InTO requirements. Review and evaluate incoming reports and information, collection plans, and programs.
• Write clear, concise, and timely reports that identify, interpret, and collate disparate pieces of information. Develop information and technical support documents, summaries, reports, presentations, and other designated products in support of program information and technical support requirements. Present briefings to personnel designated by program management.
• Conduct analytical and critical thinking (i.e. understand problem set, review facts, make accurate observations and judgments and provide recommendations to
management).
• Identify relevant data sources to clarify or corroborate investigative or operational program initiatives. Access information from classified and open-source databases. Access, analyze and interpret as well as perform research on designated systems and databases for the purpose of identifying information of interest to the requester, organizing and reporting the identified information to an appropriate medium, and editing the information into format(s) specified by the InTO SOP. Evaluate information using good judgment and decision making.
• Assist in reviewing personnel security matters.
Required Qualifications
• Security Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance with Counterintelligence Polygraph.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related discipline. Four (4) years of military or federal experience in a similar program may be substituted for degree
• A minimum of eight (8) years of hands-on experience performing administrative, analytical, and research functions in national security or operational security-related matters.
