Summit Human Capital is seeking a highly-motivated TEMPEST Specialist to support a federal program located on-site at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
Requirements:
• Active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance.
• Active CompTIA Sec+ certification or equivalent.
• Air Force TEMPEST experience (2+ years preferred).
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work on-site daily at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to be client-facing, lead meetings, facilitate processes, and work with customers and stakeholders.
Desired:
• TEMPEST certification(s).
Responsibilities:
• Join a federal program as their TEMPEST Specialist and act as the main liaison for the TEMPEST certification process.
• Work closely with stakeholders to facilitate the certification process.
• Stay informed on the latest revisions and updates to TEMPEST regulations, offering strategic advice to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Partner with third-party vendors and collaborators to assist in achieving TEMPEST certification objectives.
• Create and manage detailed documentation of all TEMPEST-related processes, evaluations, and results.
• Deliver training sessions and support to personnel regarding TEMPEST standards and secure practices.
• Design and execute TEMPEST certification plans and methodologies in alignment with applicable regulations and standards.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to TEMPEST criteria across all stages of product development.
• Perform evaluations and reviews of systems, environments, and operational practices to detect and mitigate any risks related to TEMPEST vulnerabilities.
