Tyto Athene is searching for a Unified Communications/Audio Visual SME to provide requirements, analysis, evaluation, and optimization recommendations and implementation for design, installation, interoperability and maintenance of telephony, video teleconferencing, chat, IPTV, digital signage, mass notification, Land Mobile Radio (LMR) and Audio-Visual Multi-Media (AVMM) architecture. The Subject Matter Expert will also assist with the technical direction of developmental and operational Unified Communication Systems.

Required:
Possess an associate degree from an accredited college or university is required with two (2) years of experience; or High School diploma with four (4) years' experience; or a Bachelor's degree with no work experience.
Desired:
An entry-level AV certification or certificate of training. e.g. (AVIXA, Certified Technology Specialist, Dante Certification, Crestron Training, WEBEX, Extron, or other AV related hardware training).

Responsibilities:
- Prepare operational guides
- Train Government customers in proper use of UC systems
- Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of UC systems
- Provide tier 1 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems
- Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of UC systems
- Provide assistance to users in accessing and using UC systems
- Document hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures
- Coordinate hardware installations across multiple sites
- Maintain and develop the environment for hardware and software build, staging, testing and integration
- Apply concepts and define and implement hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures, such as creating product build scripts and procedures and integrate the scripts with the hardware and software build process.
- Analyze complex hardware systems, hardware design, architecture, network configuration and other technical hardware issues
- Perform testing on equipment
- Provide hardware maintenance support, both preventative and remedial
- Deploy, install and implement US at CONUS and OCONUS locations
- Conduct site surveys
- Interpret drawings, specifications and other related documents
- Acts as equipment custodian and performs inventory asset management and accountability functions
- Design a wide variety of UC solutions including multi-level security systems, enterprise level collaboration systems, conference rooms, classrooms, command centers, auditoriums, digital signage and streaming

Compensation:
- Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically between 150,000-180,000. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
