Position Overview

The Senior Program Analyst provides expert operational and technical guidance to support High-Speed Systems program management and execution activities. This role focuses on model-based approaches to program execution and systems engineering across multiple component projects within established and new research and development portfolios.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply expertise in program management software including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Microsoft Project, PowerBI , AFRL CCaR , EP2, Work Unit Management, and PM Apps. Familiarity with Magic Cameo Systems Modeler is desired.
  • Develop and implement Capability Based Planning processes for High-Speed Systems.
  • Develop, analyze, and maintain technical/programmatic work breakdown structures, roadmaps, and multi-layered Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), including creation of visualizations for presentations and integration with model-based execution environments.
  • Oversee cost, schedule, and technical execution of multiple programs and projects, tracking tasks and milestones for both in-house and external contracts.
  • Populate and maintain enterprise-level program management applications documenting objectives, structure, execution, and systems engineering activities.
  • Perform assessments and support within model-based systems engineering (MBSE) frameworks, visualizing model contents for reviews.
  • Respond to recurring and ad-hoc program taskers; prepare program documentation and presentations (written and oral) for formal and informal reviews.
  • Assist in developing and initiating future research and development portfolio programs; familiarity with Early Strategy and Issue Session (ESIS) process preferred.
  • Apply comprehensive program management philosophies, policies, and procedures to acquisition activities.
  • Support government leads with lifecycle requirements, subsystems, and equipment management.
  • Conduct strategic scheduling, planning, and reporting using various tracking systems.
  • Provide technical support and coordination for integrated program reviews and industry engagement.
  • Assist in managing development, production, and deployment activities for capabilities, systems, subsystems, and equipment.
  • Identify risks and support development of risk mitigation plans.
  • Generate, review, and distribute internal and external program reports, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Coordinate, organize, and participate in technical and programmatic reviews, studies, and analyses.
  • Support organizational management through data gathering, analysis, and project management, recommending alternative operational models as appropriate.
  • Support occasional travel to locations including Washington D.C. metro area, Arnold AFB, and Eglin AFB.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in program analysis and model-based program execution.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret / TS/SCI / SAP clearance.
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Project and PowerBI .
  • Familiarity with AFRL program management tools and MBSE tools such as Magic Cameo Systems Modeler.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills .
  • Experience supporting DoD or aerospace R&D programs and acquisition processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate across stakeholders, and deliver clear documentation and presentations.

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering , Business, Program Management, Systems Engineering, or related technical field is required.
