SHINE Systems is seeking technical operations and intelligence professionals with hands-on experience supporting Army intelligence and targeting systems to join our team in deploying and sustaining next-generation mission platforms. As a Field Service Technician, you will work alongside analysts and implementation teams at the tactical edge to ensure successful field deployment and ongoing support of advanced mission software. In this role, you will train and mentor users, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and contribute to the development of new system use cases. Your efforts will help drive mission outcomes, foster collaboration across the enterprise, and ensure continued system readiness and operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide on-site deployment, installation, configuration, and sustainment of technical intelligence and targeting systems.
• Conduct diagnostic testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure system reliability and optimal performance.
• Collaborate with military end users and mission stakeholders to ensure seamless system integration.
• Deliver hands-on training for system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, covering both hardware and software components.
• Respond to technical issues and user inquiries with timely and effective resolutions.
• Document system issues, actions taken, and resolutions using proper reporting channels.
• Participate in system upgrades, capability enhancements, and field modifications.
• Stay current on Army intelligence systems, operational requirements, and best practices.
• Provide informed feedback to drive continuous product improvement based on real-world insights.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, operational standards, and military security guidelines.
• Serve as a professional ambassador of SHINE Systems and our client in all field engagements.
Required Qualifications:
• U.S. citizenship (required under U.S. Government contract).
• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.
• 4+ years of experience in field service support, system sustainment, or a similar technical role-preferably in a military or defense environment.
• Strong proficiency with computer systems, networking, and software troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently in high-tempo mission environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Direct experience supporting intelligence and targeting systems in operational settings.
• Familiarity with U.S. Army intelligence doctrine and mission systems.
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with military users.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% CONUS and support OCONUS rotations of up to 3 months.
• Flexible mindset and ability to adapt to dynamic mission requirements and operational constraints.
