Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency, is seeking a Web Based Software Engineer to join our Client's team.
Position Responsibilities
This position supports the C2BMC program. This is a mid-level configuration management, software and web development role, supporting the tools development and management lead and the IT teams. Responsibilities are directed by the lead and include supporting existing applications and developing user interfaces and tools for internal use on C2BMC. Responsible for understanding documented requirements, implementing solutions, and performing unit testing of the tools and code. Prior work on DoD contracts performing tools and web development is a significant plus.

Technical Skills Required:
- Knowledge of web-based software development and user interface design.
- Experience with framework for building web applications such as Angular or React.
- Ability to work with Java, HTTP, JavaScript/JSON, CesiumJS open-source JavaScript library, and WildFly/JBossAS application server.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience with configuration management, software, and web development.
- Platforms and tools experience should include some of the following: PHP, Apache and IIS web servers, MySQL, Oracle, JavaScript, RHEL Linux, Eclipse and/or Java Beans, Sphinx, ClearQuest, and Memcached.

- Knowledge and experience with configuration management, software, and web development.
- Platforms and tools experience could include some of the following: PHP, Apache and IIS web servers, MySQL, Oracle, JavaScript, RHEL Linux, Eclipse and/or Java Beans, Sphinx, ClearQuest, and Memcached. Experience with Relational, Graph, or Document databases. Experience with TypeScript, Docker, Elastic, Bootstrap, and Jira.
- DevOps / DevSecOps experience is a plus.
- Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Deployment (CD).
- Experience with setting up Jenkins Builds.
- Experience with software security tools such as HP Fortify and SonarQube.
- Experience with microservices, Swagger and API definitions.
- Demonstrated use of Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) and configuration management (Git, Bitbucket).
