MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Logistics Specialist to join our team in Gutantanamo Bay, Cuba

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Implements and sustains IT and autonomous inventory management systems.
- Analyzes data to identify and reduce excess inventory, while increasing allowances and spare quantities for all assets.
- Creates standard and ad hoc reports for management from logistics-related systems as required.
- Performs supply activities for the requisition, receipt, storage, shipment, and issue of parts, materials, and equipment required for the development, deployment, installation, and operation of IT systems.
- Maps data into specific organization systems and conducts site assessments to identify problems and assist the organization and its mission partners with determining what IT elements are needed for system implementation.
- Participates in projects that enable full system development support for the installation of logistics software to modernize DoD efforts to improve supply chain management processes for procurement, inventory, and distribution management, while supporting IT systems adoption to business warehousing processes to achieve focused logistics, total asset visibility, and integrating global supply chains.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS in field necessary to assume Senior Logistics Specialist or 4 years of additional expeirence in lieu of degree
- 9+ years of experience with 5+ years of position-specific relevant experience.
- Advanced experience in all aspects of procurement, inventory management, and distribution, including modernization initiatives. Deep understanding of IT asset management, procurement, inventory control, and logistics processes.
- Expertise in managing the lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement to disposal. Strong understanding of inventory control principles and techniques.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and order fulfillment.
- Familiarity with transportation, warehousing, and distribution of IT equipment. Mastery of IT asset management software, ERP systems, and other relevant tools.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience supporting DoD programs.
- Experience in IT service management and ITIL-informed processes.
- Knowledge of ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and Jira. ITIL Foundation certificate, certified in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution (CLTD), Certified Professional Logistician (CPL), IT Asset Management (ITAM), IAITAM Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM).
- Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have an active Secret clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
