Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled technical professional to lead the design, development, deployment, and implementation of solutions across the full PeopleSoft lifecycle. This role requires hands-on expertise in translating complex business needs into scalable technical solutions while collaborating closely with stakeholders in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and execute all technical phases of the PeopleSoft implementation, from initial design to deployment and post-go-live support.
Develop and deliver technical solutions addressing business challenges, ensuring alignment with process and technology requirements.
Perform PeopleTools development activities, leveraging strong system design capabilities to enhance functionality.
Collaborate with Requirements Analysts to fully understand user stories and contribute to the delivery of product features and capabilities in each sprint cycle.
Assess the potential impact of vendor upgrades and software updates on existing systems, providing technical recommendations.
Partner with the Product Owner and Requirements Analyst to propose creative solutions that minimize system customizations while meeting user needs.
Support production operations by analyzing complex issues and developing, testing, and deploying corrective solutions.
Create detailed test plans, including test scenarios and test cases, to validate solution integrity.
Perform critical data corrections when necessary to resolve production issues.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline. Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in information systems implementation, application redesign, or change management initiatives.
At least three (3) years of direct technical development experience with PeopleSoft™ HRMS ERP, including current work with PeopleSoft™ version 9.x.
Five (5) years of experience in designing, prototyping, and testing technical solutions for enterprise systems.
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working with ORACLE databases and SQL programming.
Experience developing technical solutions using Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technologies.
Demonstrated success in the technical implementation of PeopleSoft™ solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Leadership experience managing complex information system projects and applying advanced functional and technical expertise.
Background providing subject matter expertise across industry, process, or specific technology domains.
Experience creating design documentation and process workflows.
Proficiency in unit testing of IT systems and applications.
Familiarity with customer-specific mission environments.
Completion of certified PeopleSoft™ training in any of the following:

PeopleCode
Workflow
Integration Broker
Application Engine
Component Interface
PeopleSoft™ HRMS
PeopleSoft™ Portal
